HEINEKEN x LINSEY: Creating Branded Content from Formula 1 to Lowlands
Leave a comment
THE CHALLENGE
Creating content for a brand like Heineken sounds simple… Until you realize alcohol campaigns come with a LOT of rules.
Every visual had to stay inside strict brand guidelines while still feeling creative, fashionable and fun enough for social media.
At the same time, the content was created during some of the biggest festivals and events in the Netherlands:
- Sensation
- Formula 1 Zandvoort
- Lowlands
Which meant: fast environments, huge crowds, constant chaos and very little time to create standout visuals.

THE GOAL
The goal was to create creative festival content for Heineken Silver that felt natural inside the experience itself. Not overly commercial. Not like traditional advertising.
But playful, stylish and visually interesting enough while staying between the strict guidelines and briefing.

THE CONCEPT
For every event, I created content inspired by the atmosphere of the festival itself.
At Sensation, where everyone dresses in white, I transformed myself into a “Heineken Silver bride”, an inspired look matching the Heineken aesthetic.
For Formula 1 Zandvoort, I played with optical illusion photography by turning the Heineken Silver cans into part of the race-inspired visuals and Photoshopped myself next to champ Max Verstappen.
And during Lowlands, the focus shifted more toward funny, relatable festival storytelling and capturing the energy of the experience.
The challenge was always the same: How do you make branded content still feel creative, cool and authentic?

THE VISUALS
During this collaboration, I created:
- Storytelling content creation
- Creative branded content
- fashion-focused visuals
- optical illusion ideas
All created in fast-moving live environments where creativity had to happen in real time.
THE RESULTS
This collaboration allowed me to combine some of my favorite things:
fashion, festivals, branding, storytelling and creative visuals.
