ZALANDO x LINSEY: A Long-term Collab With Creative Formats For Easy Conversion
Leave a comment
My very first collaboration ever as a blogger was with Zalando. A €50 voucher in exchange for a blogpost. At the time, it honestly felt unreal that creating content online could become an actual career.
Years later… Zalando came back into my life in a completely different way. And that genuinely felt like a full circle moment.
THE CHALLENGE
Zalando was looking for a small selection of creators across the Benelux to create fashion-focused content for their own platform and app. Not polished influencer ads. Not scripted campaigns.
They wanted creators with personality. Creators with a recognizable visual style. Creators who understood how to make fashion content feel entertaining and native to social media. Which, honestly, is exactly where I thrive creatively.
THE COLLABORATION
I became one of only a handful of creators selected for the campaign and worked with Zalando over a longer period of time creating recurring content formats for their channels.
And one of the biggest reasons this collaboration worked so well? Creative freedom.
There were guidelines of course, but beyond that, I was fully trusted to bring my own personality, humor and concepts into the content. No stiff scripts. No forced branding. Just: great fashion, strong storytelling and internet-first creativity.
THE CONTENT
Throughout the collaboration, I created multiple fashion concepts and social-first formats for Zalando.
One of my favorite concepts was created during Pride.
Every day I styled a different monochromatic outfit and when all the content pieces were placed next to each other, they formed the colors of the rainbow flag together.
Another campaign happened during Fashion Week. Instead of attending a runway show somewhere in Paris or Milan (I was 36 weeks pregnant at that time, hello?!)… I transformed my own hallway at home into a fashion runway.
The content felt playful, colorful, slightly chaotic and visually engaging, while still inspiring people to shop the looks directly through Zalando’s platform.
And that’s exactly what made the collaboration feel so natural: the content never felt like traditional advertising. It felt like stepping into my world for Zalando.
THE RESULTS
The collaboration ran successfully for months and became one of the most creatively freeing brand partnerships I’ve ever done.
Zalando connected related products directly to my content on their platform, allowing viewers to instantly shop the looks and pieces featured in the videos.
Which created a seamless crossover between:
- content,
- storytelling,
- fashion inspiration
- and shopping behavior.
