Content Starts METHOD x LINSEY: The Gamified Content Campaign People Still Talk About Years Later

Published by Leave a comment

Some collaborations disappear after a campaign ends. This one didn’t. Years later, people still message me about the content I created for Method. Which honestly says everything.

THE CHALLENGE

Cleaning products are everywhere online. So the real question became: How do you make people actually stop scrolling for one?

Method already had a strong visual identity: colorful, playful, creative, a little unexpected. Which matched perfectly with the world I naturally create in myself.

So instead of creating “traditional” branded content, I approached the campaign like an interactive internet experience.

THE CONCEPT

I created MISSION METHOD: a gamified Instagram content series built using the native tools of Instagram itself.

Think: interactive Stories, fast-paced Reels, tap moments, visual triggers, playful storytelling and content that felt more like a game than an ad.

The goal was simple: make people participate instead of passively watching. And that worked incredibly well.

THE CREATIVE APPROACH

One thing I always try to do in partnerships is make branded content feel native to internet culture. Not overly polished advertising. Not forced product placement.

But content people genuinely enjoy interacting with. For Method, that meant turning cleaning into something visually satisfying, energetic and fun. Bright colors. Movement. Gamification. Fast interaction. A little chaos and a lot of dopamine.

THE RESULTS

The campaign performed extremely well across both Method’s channels and my own platforms. But honestly? The biggest compliment came afterwards. People kept remembering it.

Even years later, I still get messages about MISSION METHOD and the creative cleaning game concept behind it. Which proves something I strongly believe in: People rarely remember ads. They remember experiences.
